MONTPELIER VT

FALL 2024

This was a three month installation in a gallery in Montpelier, VT in the fall of 2024 of art made with colored optical filters.   The lit-up installation was visible through large windows from the sidewalk of Main Street in the tiny state capitol most evenings, and two days a week the windows were curtained off and people were invited to come into the darkened space to experience the light art up close and also to be immersed in a soundscape created by sound artists John Thomas Levee and Graham Sullivan.  Vermont’s art and culture weekly newspaper Seven Days had an article that did a great job of describing the installation and the thought behind it.
